Ultra-Widefield Imaging for Beginners Recorded Webinar
This lecture will discuss the benefits of looking beyond the posterior pole and will examine why optometrists should screen and document the retinal periphery. Typical abnormalities affecting the retinal periphery will be discussed.
Delegates will hear from a practitioner who uses ultra-widefield retinal imaging in daily optometric practice. The case will be put for examining the peripheral retina as part of a routine eye examination to provide a higher level of patient care.
The lecture will look at how the additional information provided by ultra-widefield influences clinical decision making in a number of example cases. Real case studies of patients with retinal pathology will be presented including both symptomatic and asymptomatic patients.
